Richard C. Kim received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 1981, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical/Optical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 1987. Dr. Kim is an industry expert in optics, sensor technology, signal/image processing and secure messaging, and has over 20 years of experience in this field working with projects sponsored by the U.S. Navy, Army, Air Force and NASA. He was a founding member of CyberOptics Corporation (CYBE) in Minneapolis, MN and was a research scientist at Rocketdyne Division of Rockwell International. Dr. Kim has held senior and executive management positions at General Scientific Corporation in Ann Arbor, MI, and Technical Systems Integrators, Inc. in Tempe, AZ. Most recently he founded DynaSig Corporation, and has developed a unique dynamic biometric signature technology that permits user authentication and provides the secure identification while assuring the least intrusive verification. He is currently the President of Dynamic Biometric Systems, Inc. (DYBO) that has acquired DynaSig in January 2005.
